Another step completed – I have just got back from my biometrics appointment.
If that sounds even remotely interesting then trust me, it isn’t. In fact the only reason I am blogging about it is for the sake of consistency, and in case anyone else going through the process isn’t sure what happens.
For me, the highlight was a three hour round trip starting at about 6.30am into St Paul, the nearest Application Support Centre.
Once inside I showed my letter and passport, then was given a basic form to fill in. The form was stamped, I got a number, and was told to wait.
After my number was called I had my fingerprints taken (all fine except for my right little finger, which apparently doesn’t really matter anyway…) and a photo, and that was it.
In and out in around 25 minutes, most of which was waiting for my number.
My appointment was at 10.00am but I got there nice and early and didn’t have to wait until my alloted time. I wish there was something more interesting I could add but… nothing else happened.
It was nice to see the sunrise while driving, and it was a bit foggy which was pretty, but I didn’t take any photos because of driving.
Sorry.
