You may recall that I had some moderate drama last fall when my green card expired and I had to get a letter to remain a legal resident.

It’s been around 11 months since I submitted my application to remove the restrictions on my green card, so we were excited yet cautious when an envelope arrived from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
